Computer time

To finish off our learning about the heart, we worked in pairs to type up a fact about the heart to be used for our classroom wall display.

Each pair followed the instructions to load up the computer and open up a word document.

Bar charts

We have been having fun making bar graphs. We used the smart board to make a graph of our favourite colours. 

We linked it to our topic and made a bar chart showing the different hair colours in Primary 2.

 

 

 We went outside and made a bar chart, working in pairs to pass a beanbag, counting how many passes there were without dropping the beanbag. 

 

Bird research

For our flight topic, everyone chose a bird that they would like to find out more about. We discussed what kinds of things we wanted to know. The Primary 6 class kindly helped us to use the internet to help us choose a picture to print and find some information about our birds. We wanted to find out the bird's wingspan, what it eats, what its beak is like and where it lives. Thank you to Primary 6 for their help!
